GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team gave No. 5 Washington-St. Louis as much as it could handle as Greenville fell 75-60 on Tuesday night.  Junior Meredith Crosier scored 16 points and led the team with eight rebounds in her first start of the season.

Greenville took a one point lead with four minutes remaining in the second quarter before Washington closed the half with a 40-38 lead.

The Lady Panthers stayed neck-and-neck with Washington as they were tied 52-52 with four minutes to go in the third quarter.

Washington took control of the game by the end of the third quarter and kept Greenville from getting any closer than four points in the final stanza.
