Washington University in St. Louis junior second baseman Ben Browdy was one of 13 players named to this week's D3baseball.com Team of the Week, as announced Tuesday by the website.
Browdy led WashU to a 4-0 record last week, batting .556 (10-for-18) with 14 RBIs and a 1.167 slugging percentage. He was 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and four RBIs in the Bears' 21-2 seven-inning win at Greenville College Friday.
Browdy capped the week by going 4-for-5 with a double, two homeruns and eight RBIs in a 15-5 seven-inning win over Iowa Wesleyan University Sunday. Six of his 10 hits on the week were for extra bases, and his 14 RBIs brought his season total to 51, which ranks first in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season.
