Washington University in St. Louis baseball senior Brad Margolin (Northbrook, Ill./Glenbrook North) was selected as the 2017 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III Gold Glove recipient at pitcher, as announced by the ABCA.

"Brad Margolin is one of the more complete pitchers that I have had the pleasure to coach, and I am proud to say that he was also one of our hardest workers," commented head coach Pat Bloom. "He invested countless hours of practice to improve his defensive skill competencies – whether it was fielding his position, holding runners on base, or perfecting his pick-off repertoire.  Brad earned every accolade that he has received, and we are proud to now add 'Gold Glover' to his long list of achievements as a Bear."
