Three members of the New York University baseball team were named All-New York Region by d3baseball.com, it was announced earlier this week.

Colman Hendershot became the program's first-ever First Team All-Region honoree, while Coltrane Tait and Cameron Serapilio-Frank were named to the Second and Third Teams, respectively.

Hendershot, who was named the UAA Position Player of the Year earlier this postseason, led NYU and the UAA in many offensive categories including hits (61), RBI (61) and slugging percentage (.642), while finishing second in the Association in home runs (eight) and batting average (.370).

Tait, a First Team All-UAA honoree, recorded a hit in his first 14 games en route to a .354 batting average, which ranked third on the squad. The sophomore also tallied 47 RBI, the second most on the team and in the UAA.

Serapilio-Frank, who also received First Team All-UAA recognition, led the UAA in wins (nine), while pitching to a miniscule 2.14 ERA over 71.1 innings. The Rochester, NY, native struck out 51 batters, which ranked tops on the team and fourth in the Association.

All three players contributed to a record breaking season for the Violets, who won 28 game, five more than the previous high.
