Brandeis University baseball team sophomore Mike Khoury of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, has been selected a second-team All-New England shortstop by D3Baseball.com.

Khoury, who split time between shortstop and third base this season, was the team's top offensive threat. He led the Judges in nearly every major category: batting average (.370), slugging percentage (.637), on-base percentage (.485), hits (50), runs (47), RBI (41), home runs (7) and walks (27). He was tied for second on the squad with 11 doubles. With all teams in the University Athletic Association's season finished, Khoury led the conference in slugging, finished second in runs scored, and was third in RBI and home runs. His 1.27 runs scored per game rank 25th among all Division III players.

Khoury hit safely in 25 of 37 games this season, including 17 multi-hit games. In one seven-game stretch this season, from April 10th through the 21st, he went 19-for-30 with 13 runs scored and 15 RBI. Khoury hit .339 with five doubles, one triple, one home run, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored in UAA contests this season. Khoury had one four-hit game against Becker on April 11th, a game in which he drove in four, as well.

In head coach Derek Carlson's fourth season at the helm, the Brandeis baseball team went 17-20, surpassing their win total from the previous two seasons combined. The Judges graduate only one senior as they look to continue to improve next season.

Khoury is a 2017 graduate of East Bridgewater High School.
