Washington University senior pitcher Brad Margolin tossed his fifth consecutive complete game, allowing two unearned runs, in a 3-2 Bears’ win over University of Chicago in the opening game of a four-game set. He yielded three hits and struck out seven over nine innings to earn his ninth victory of the season.
