Case Western Reserve University sophomore left guard Dee Gose was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Team, based on his athletic and academic accomplishments during the season.
Gose started all 10 games for the Spartans during his sophomore season. He helped the team's offense average 38.3 points per game on 466.8 yards per contest, while allowing just 31 sacks during the course of the year.
Academically, Gose holds a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average as a finance major. He earned UAA Fall All-Academic honors this year, and was selected to the PAC Academic Honor Roll as a freshman. This was his first career Academic All-District honor.
By virtue of his selection to the All-District squad, Gose will be included on the ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Wednesday, December 12th.
