Washington University sits in first place in the Division III Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup Standings, as announced by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), one of five UAA teams ranked.
The Bears totaled 224 points and has three top-10 finishes in four championships finished to date - women’s cross country (fourth), men’s cross county (fourth) and volleyball (ninth). Middlebury has 219.5 points and two top-10 finishes – field hockey (third), women’s cross country (sixth) – while men’s cross country finished 13th.
Emory University, keyed by a runner-up finish in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship, sits in seventh place. University of Chicago (31st), Carnegie Mellon University (61st), and Case Western Reserve University (84th) are also ranked in the first standings.
