UAA Top Conference in Final Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

The final 2015-16 Learfield Directors’ Cup standings were released today and the UAA finished first in overall conference performance, highlighted by second-place Washington University and third-place Emory University.

The UAA has the highest average ranking per institution (51.5) and highest average number of points earned per member institution (503.9). In addition, the UAA has the most teams ranked in the top-100.

The Bears earned three top-10 finishes in the spring, including a third-place finish in women’s outdoor track and field.

The Eagles jumped from seventh after the winter to third with four top-seven finishes, including the NCAA title in women's tennis.

University of Chicago posted its highest finish in program history by placing 14th. Both Maroon tennis teams earned top-five finishes in the spring.

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
