UAA Remains Top Conference in Final Winter Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

The final Learfield Directors’ Cup winter standings were released today and the UAA leads the way in overall conference performance, highlighted by second-place Washington University.

The UAA has the highest average ranking per institution (40.75) and highest average number of points earned per member institution (346.50). In addition, the UAA has the most teams ranked in the top-50 and in the top-100.

The Bears earned five top-10 finishes in the winter, including a third-place finish in women’s indoor track and field.

Other UAA institutions in the top-25 are Emory University (seventh), University of Chicago (17th), and NYU (22nd).

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
