Seven UAA Institutions Finish Winter in Top-55 of Directors' Cup Standings

Seven UAA institutions are ranked among the top 55 teams in NCAA Division III in the final Learfield Directors’ Cup winter standings.

With multiple strong finishes in swimming & diving and/or indoor track & field, seven UAA institutions rank in among the nation's best in the standings entering the spring season with Washington University (fifth), Emory University (sixth), and University of Chicago (eighth) all among the top-10.

Carnegie Mellon University (28th), NYU (30th), and University of Rochester (42nd) are all in the top-50 with Brandeis University (53rd) close by. Case Western Reserve University moved into 116th place.

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.  Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
