The Washington University in St. Louis men's basketball team had four student-athletes named to the 2013-14 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, as announced Monday by the Association.

A record number 895 student-athletes from 335 colleges and universities earned NABC Honors Court distinction.

Junior forward Nick Burt, senior forward Chris Klimek, junior forward Matt Palucki and senior center Will Patt each earned the accolade for Washington University.

The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court, and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria.

The qualifications are as follows: academically a junior or senior and a varsity player, cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year, at least one year of participation at their current institution and member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution.

Washington University finished the 2013-14 season with a 24-3 overall mark and won the UAA Championship with a 14-0 record. The Bears also made an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight year. Washington U. ended the season ranked No. 6 in the D3hoops.com Top-25 Poll.
