Three or four times a year the Carnegie Mellon University men's basketball team participates in a youth reading day.  On Tuesday, October 21, the team volunteered their time as they traveled to the Pittsburgh Liberty Elementary School and read to fourth and fifth graders.

"This is something we really enjoy," said head coach Tony Wingen.  "It is great to have the opportunity to reinforce how important reading is and how much fun it can be."

"It's just great to see how enthusiastic the kids are about learning," Wingen added.

Participants from the men's basketball team at the Pittsburgh Liberty reading day were seniors Matt Loebbaka and Seth Cordts and junior Jason Sebak along with Wingen and assistant coach Ethan Stewart-Smith.
