Will Trawick of Emory Earns NABC & D3hoops.com Honors

Emory University senior Will Trawick was recognized for his outstanding 2015-16 campaign by both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com, earning postseason honors by both entities.

The 6-foot-5 Trawick was selected as a First Team All-South District honoree by the NABC, while garnering Third Team All-South Region acclaim by D3hoops.com.

A starter in all 27 games he saw action in, Trawick helped Emory to an overall record of 20-8 and a first-place finish in the University Athletic Association (11-3), pacing the squad and ranking ninth in the league in scoring with a 15.2 points-per-game average, while his 15.7 per-game effort in conference tilts stood sixth among league performers.  A double-figure scorer on 22 occasions (48 in his career), he registered six outings of 20 or more points. A First Team All-UAA pick, he ranked as Emory's leading scorer in nine contests.  In addition, he pulled down a team-high 5.7 rebounds per outing in overall affairs, placing him 15th on the UAA list.

He cracked the 1,000 career-point plateau in the Eagles' NCAA D-III Tournament win over Covenant College and finished with 1,021 points during his four years in the program, good for the No. 14 spot on the school's all-time list.  He knocked down a total of 125 three-point field goals, 12th all-time at Emory, and his 37.1 percent mark (125 of 337) from beyond the arc slotted him in the No. 14 spot.
