UAA Announces Men's Basketball All-Association Team; Andrew Sanders Named Most Valuable Player

Senior forward Andrew Sanders of Washington University was named UAA Men's Basketball Player of the Year as the 2017-18 UAA All-Association Team was announced.

Sanders is averaging 16.7 points per game, while shooting 55.1 percent from the field (147-for-267). He adds 7.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He ranked third in the UAA in field goal percentage, fourth in scoring, and sixth in scoring in helping lead the Bears to a 13-1 mark in Association play.

Senior guard Jake Knupp of the Bears was selected as the UAA Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Year. Romin Williams of Emory University was named UAA Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year.
