He led the Yellowjackets in scoring and rebounding averages. He was also tops in all three scoring categories: field goals made (138), free throws made (78), and three-point field goals made (50).

Rochester played in three tournaments during the year, going 2-0 in each event. Clamage was the MVP in all three tournaments. In the season-opening Chuck Resler Invitational (played a week before Thanksgiving vs. Bard College and Utica College), Clamage totaled 39 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. He had a career-high 29 points in the championship game vs. Utica.

A week later, Rochester defeated SUNY Canton and Stockton University to win its Holiday Inn Rochester Downtown Tournament over Thanksgiving Saturday and Sunday. Clamage had 15 points and five boards vs. SUNY Canton, then scored 20 points with five rebounds vs. Stockton.

Rochester was 16-9 in 2017-18. UR won nine of its 11 non-conference games. The Yellowjackets were 7-7 in the UAA and finished fourth of eight teams in the standings.

Clamage is one of five Illinois athletes on the men's team at Rochester. The other four are junior Michael Mangan (Winnteka, IL/Loyola Academy), senior Tucker Knox (Aurora, IL/Batavia), sophomore Patrick Benka (Palatine, IL/Fremd), and first-year Kailan Lee (River Forest, IL/St. Ignatius/Phillips Academy, Andover, MA).
