From University of Chicago Athletics
The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced on Wednesday that University of Chicago Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike McGrath has been appointed to the NABC Board of Directors.
McGrath is one of four NCAA Division III coaches on the 23-member board. He is also currently a member of the NCAA Men's Basketball Rules Committee. McGrath has remained an active committee member in the NABC over the years, including involvement with the annual Reese's College All-Star game.
The veteran head coach enters his 21st season at the helm of the Maroons in 2019-20. McGrath is the program's all-time leader in wins with 298. He has received three University Athletic Association (UAA) Coach of the Year accolades while leading UChicago to four UAA titles and four NCAA postseason appearances.
