Freshman Justin Hardy averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game as Washington University remained in a tie for first place in the UAA with a pair of road wins. He shot 69.0 percent from the field (20-for-29), including 9-of-12 from three-point range. Hardy totaled 25 points and five rebounds in an 87-85 win at Carnegie Mellon University on Friday and then finished with 26 points and a career-high eight boards in the Bears’ 66-63 win at Case Western Reserve University. Leading by two with 22 seconds left, he stole a pass and went in for a layup to make it 65-61 and secure the victory.
