Emory University senior forward Jim Gordon averaged 27.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game, leading the Eagles to UAA home wins over Case Western Reserve University and Carnegie Mellon University. He shot 59.3 percent from the floor (16-for-27) and 53.3 percent (8-of-15) from three-point range in the two contests. Gordon scored 30 points in the Eagles’ 99-92 overtime win over the Spartans and then tallied 25 points, including 21 in the second half, in an 88-73 victory over the Tartans.
