Brandeis University senior guard Corey Sherman claimed Most Valuable Player honors at the New England Big Four Challenge after averaging 24.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He shot 66.7 percent from the field (16-for-24), 50.0 percent (4-for-8) from three-point range, and 92,9 percent from the line (13-of-14). Sherman scored 24 points, hitting eight of 11 field goals, in the Judges’ 77-69 win over Salem State University and then helped the Judges win their first Big Four title since 2012 with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in a 74-49 win over Babson College.
