The New York University men's and women's fencing teams
completed competition at the North American Cup on Monday, January

four-day event which began on Friday.
NYU's most successful performance of the weekend was produced by
the senior men's foil team. Daniel

first match before falling in the semifinals. However, the team
then bounced back to win the third-place match.
In men's individual action, Hans

in junior epee. Engel was the most successful Violet winning five
matches on the day and finishing in 51st place out of 168
competitors.
Audra Fox represented the Violet women in the
individual foil competition. The senior won three matches to finish
the 109-person event in 65th place.
The women's fencing squad also competed in the senior epee team
event. Alyssa Parkhurst, Marissa
