NYU Sweeps Three Matches at Columbia

The New York University men's fencing team, currently ranked #10 in the nation by collegefencing360.com, faced three opponents in a quad-meet hosted by Columbia University on Wednesday, February 14, in upper Manhattan.

The Short Story: NYU defeated all three of its opponents, knocking off fourth-ranked and host Columbia first and then recording victories against Vassar College and Sacred Heart University. The three matches concluded the dual meet season for the Violets, who will head to NCAA Regionals with a 21-9 overall record. The 21 victories are the most single-season wins in program history.
