The New York University men's golf team received All-Academic Team honors by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Wednesday, July 30.

The Violets were recognized for having a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Honors were given to 141 schools, 23 of them from Division III.

These academic honors followed a very successful golf season for Head Coach Todd Kolean's squad. Led by senior captain Kyle Demshki, junior Matthew Gjonaj and freshman Owen Lin, the Violets finished fourth or better three times throughout the season. NYU's season was highlighted by a first-place finish at the rain-shortened Hamilton College Invitational.
