Cameron Low of Carnegie Mellon Cards Season-Best Round at Day One of the Mercyhurst Spring Invitational

The Carnegie Mellon University men's golf team carded a first round team score of 306 at the Mercyhurst University Spring Invitational Sunday, April 19. The 36-hole event is being played on the par-72 course at Lake View Country Club in Northeast, Pennsylvania.
    
Senior Cameron Low (Los Angeles, Calif./Windward) fired a season-best round of even-par 72 on Sunday afternoon to lead the Tartans.  Sophomore George Qian (Bettendorf, Iowa/Montverde Academy) and freshman Nikhil Mohan (Bangalore, India/Canadian International School) both carded a five-over par 77 in the opening round.  Senior Justin Fischler (Avon, Conn.) shot an 80 while sophomore Jordan Klodowski (Kittanning, Pa.) ended play with an 81 on Sunday.
    
Carnegie Mellon had one individual enter the invitational, as sophomore Brad Jennette (Pittsford, N.Y./Sutherland) had a round of 79.
