NYU Sits Second at Tim Brown Invitational

New York University's men's golf team is currently in second place at the Tim Brown Invitational on Saturday, April 18, at the Ballston Spa Country Club in Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Violets shot 302 as a team, finishing the first day of competition in second place of nine competitors. Skidmore College is in first place after shooting 293 overall.

NYU's top scorer of the day was freshman Paul Park, who shot a 72 and is tied for first place.

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Freshman Christopher Nolte and senior captain Matthew Gjonaj are tied for each 13th place after both shot a 76.

- Freshman Hartej Gill is currently tied for 22nd after shooting a 78.

- Senior captain Charles Van Cook shot an 82 and is tied for 28th place.
