Paul Parkl of the New York University men's golf team was named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Freshman Team on Wednesday, May 13.

Park had a successful rookie season for the Violets and was previously named to the All-University Athletic Association (UAA) First Team, UAA Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-Liberty League. 

The La Crescenta, CA, native averaged a team-best 76.8 strokes per round during his freshman campaign and finished in the top five twice. His best round of the season came at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitiational on April 17, when he shot an even-par 72.
