Emory Captures UAA Men's Golf Championship Match Over Rochester

The Emory golf team will bring home the 2016 University Athletic Association championship following its win over the University of Rochester in the finals on Sunday.  The event was played at the 6,775-yard, par 72 Redtail Golf Course in Sorrento, Florida.

Using a match-play format, Emory posted a 4-2 decision over the Yellowjackets.  Below are the results of the match-play competitions.  It is Emory's second straight and 16th UAA championship over the past 28 seasons.

Dominick Schumacher (UR) 1 up over Connor Yakubov (EU)
Luis Arteaga (UR) 6-4 over Jonathan Gerrard (EU)

Carnegie Mellon defeated New York University, 4-2, in the third-place match.
