"We are lucky to be in first," said Head Coach Brad Johnson. "We can do way better than that. We can shoot way lower tomorrow. I feel like the team was a little bit flat."

Highlights:

- Four Violets (senior captain Eric Tarakjian, sophomore individual Qizhi Wong, and freshmen Jensen Li and Matt Shen) tied for fifth by posting a score of 78.

- Freshman Kelly Sun is in a three-way tie for 24th after shooting 85 on Friday.

- Fellow classmate Justin Chan is tied for 27th with a score of 86.

"I'd be shocked If we didn't play better tomorrow," stated Johnson. "They didn't really have the energy out there today. They didn't have as many birdies as we expected. I want to get our third win of the season tomorrow. I want to win."
