The Rochester golf team stayed right where it was following day two of the Middlebury Duke Nelson Invitational, finishing in 4th place of 22 teams on Sunday at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
The Yellowjackets compiled a two day score of 606 after shooting a Sunday round of 302, four strokes better than the opening round from Saturday.
Rochester was led on day two by senior Daniel Luftspring who carded a +2 round of 73 on the par-71 Myhre course. He finished in a tie for 13th place of 114 golfers with a score of 152. UR's overall leader was freshman Jack Mulligan who shot a 75 on Sunday to finish with a 148 score, good for seventh.
Junior Jason Paek finished in a tie for 26th after improving by two strokes on Sunday, carding a 76 to end with a score of 154. One stroke behind was senior teammate Jona Scott who was playing a short distance from home in New Haven, Vermont. Scott shot 78 on Sunday and ended in a tie for 37th.
Rounding out the Rochester lineup was junior Corey Mitchener who shot a 79 to end with a two-day score of 157, placing in a tie for 51st.
Scott Chudacoff, playing as an individual carded a 73 on Sunday, finishing in a tie for 8th place with a two-day 149.
Skidmore College took the team title with a 588 score through 36 holes, shooting a 292 on Sunday. Host Middlebury was second with 591 while Trinity of Connecticut was third at 606.
