The Yellowjacket golf team wasn't able to find any consistency on the second day of the NCAA Division III Championships. Rochester shot a combined 328 on day two, finished with a two-round total of 637, and finished in 26th place out of 42 teams. The top 18 teams advance to rounds three and four along with the top five individuals from a non-advancing team.
Jack Mulligan was the only man to break 80. He finished with a 78, one day after firing a three-under 75. Mulligan's total of 153 put him in a tie for 49th place, nine strokes over par. Mulligan had seven pars and three birdies.
Jason Paek, who had a team-low 74 on day one, produced an eight-over 80 on Wednesday. Paek tied for 63rd place with a 10-over 154. Paek had the most consistency, recording 10 pars and one birdie. He finished strong with five pars and a birdie in his last six holes.
Jona Scott was Rochester's third lowest round on Wednesday. He finished with an 83. He finished with a two-day total of 172. He had six pars and two birdies on day two.
Daniel Luftspring produced six pars and one birdie. He fired an 87 and wound up as Rochester's third aggregate scorer for the event at 18 over par (162).
Luis Arteaga was the fifth Rochester golfer. He had five pars and one birdie leading to an 89. He finished at 174.
