From University of Chicago Athletics

University of Chicago men's soccer players Brenton Desai and DJ Weis both earned All-Central Region honors on Thursday from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

Desai was picked to the First Team at his forward position. The sophomore led the Maroons in scoring with nine goals and two assists. He totaled four game-winning goals on the year, along with three multi-goal games.

Weis found a spot on the Third Team. As the team's center back, Weis helped anchor a defense that shut out seven opponents and posted a goals against average of 0.91 on the season. The sophomore defender also contributed on the attack with one goal and three assists.
