The University of Rochester men's soccer team picked up the program's 600th all-time victory with a 3-0 win over Moravian College on Saturday afternoon.

In its 82 years of existence, the Yellowjacket men's program has a combined record of 600-333-109 and a .628 all-time winning percentage.  The milestone win is the second straight after a UR victory, with head coach Chris Apple getting his 200th career victory in UR's last win against St. John Fisher on September 22nd.

The wait for team win #600 lasted five games as the Yellowjackets were in the midst of four ties and one loss in the last few weeks.  According to the NCAA Statsitics service, Rochester is only the 8th Division III men's program to register 600 all-time victories.

On Saturday, the Yellowjackets (5-3-5) got on the board early with a goal from senior forward Andrew Greenway.  He scored in the ninth minute on the first shot of the game for UR.

After two more Greenway chances in the 16th and 19th minutes, junior Jeff Greblick doubled the Yellowjacket lead to 2-0 with a hard blast from the center of the field at the 24:26 mark.

The home Greyhounds (7-9-1) had back-to-back solid chances in the 30th minute to get a goal back, but the first shot by Rocky Fatuova was saved by UR keeper Redd Brown, and the second, a header by Connor Phillips sailed high.

In the second half, Moravian had the best scoring chance of the early going when Corey Klashkin hit the post at 52:50.

At 65:50, Greblick would then tally his second of the night and third of the season to boost the UR lead to 3-0, scoring a key insurance goal for the visitors.

Overall in the game, Brown made one save in 80 minutes of action, picking up his fifth win of the season.  Marshal Davidson completed the last 10 minutes of the game and was not forced to make a save.  In the Greyhound net, Bryan Yaskowski made five saves.
