Three UAA men's teams are ranked in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) preseason poll.

Defending Association champion Brandeis University (18-3-1 in 2015) is ranked ninth in the preseason poll. The Judges advanced to the sectional semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship last season.

University of Chicago (12-6-3) and Washington University (12-4-4) are ranked 23rd and 24th, respectively. Both teams earned wins in the first round of the NCAA championship a year ago.

The 2016 season begins on Thursday, Sept. 1.
