Senior forward Jeff Greblick of the University of Rochester Men's Soccer team was recently named an All-Region selection by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
2016 NSCAA NCAA Division III Men's All-East Region Teams
Greblick was placed on the All-East Region 3rd team following a successful senior year with the Yellowjackets. He was the teams leading scorer with 11 points, coming on four goals and three assists. He scored two game-winning goals, coming in back-to-back games against Hobart and Buffalo State in September. Greblick also paced UR in shots attempted (42) and shots on goal (27) in 2016. The senior was a 2nd Team All-UAA choice and ranked in the top-15 in the conference in shots, game-winning goals, total goals and assists.
During his four year career, Greblick finished with 48 points, coming on 18 goals and 12 assists. He also added four game-winners and had three assists in a single game during his freshman year, tying the school record for assists in a game.
Overall in 2016, the Yellowjackets compiled an overall record of 9-5-3 and went unbeaten at home with a 7-0-2 mark. Greblick and Rochester qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament for the third time in four seasons, ultimately dropping a 2-0 decision to Eastern University in the first round of NCAA's.
