Wheaton's heroics came via a chipped shot from 22 yards out to the top left corner shortly after the overtime period started.

Between Jameson's goals, La Roche tied the match at 1-all early in the 27th minute and then took a 2-1 lead in the 52nd minute. The go-ahead goal was scored by Joaquin Vicent off a free kick that curved to the top left corner.

Less than four minutes later, in the 56th minute, the game was tied again when junior Greg Bellwoar (Devon, Pa. / St. Joe's Prep) dribbled through the defense and fired a shot across the box to the bottom right corner.

La Roche retook the lead on a goal by Nick Shaw in the 60th minute. He volleyed in a corner kick by Kyle Harriett the bounced across the line after hitting the underneath part of the crossbar.
