Four UAA Men Named United Soccer Coaches All-Americans

Four UAA student-athletes were chosen to the 2017 NCAA Division III Men's All-America Teams, including two first team selections.

Senior midfielder Josh Ocel of Brandeis was named to the first team, the only men's player to receive All-America honors for the third time in his career. Junior forward Max Lopez, the UAA Most Valuable Player, was also named to the first team, repeating as an All-America selection.

Senior forwards Jason McCartney of Emory University and Geoff Rouin of University of Rochester were each named to the All-America third team.

A total of 92 players (46 men, 46 women) in NCAA Division III soccer receive All-America recognition and will be honored at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Luncheon on Jan. 20, 2018 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center as part of the organization's annual convention.
