Matthew Koh and Max Lopez of Chicago Receive United Soccer Coaches Men’s Soccer All-America Status

University of Chicago men's soccer seniors Matthew Koh and Max Lopez were honored as First Team All-Americans on the 2018 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-America list, released on Thursday.

Lopez becomes the first three-time All-American in program history. He has been named to the First Team on all three occasions. The senior forward has tallied team-highs of 16 goals and 38 points so far this season, to go with six assists. He is the school's all-time leader in goals (54) and points (133) while ranking third in assists (25).

Koh joined Lopez on the First Team as a forward as well. The senior's career-best campaign features 14 goals, a team-best eight assists and 36 points. Six of his strikes have been game winners. Koh owns the school record for career assists with 33 and ranks sixth in goals with 32. His 97 points are fourth-most in UChicago men's soccer history.
