Rochester's strength as a swimming and diving program was displayed immediately on Saturday in a dual meet vs. Rochester Institute of Technology. The Yellowjackets won the 200 medley relay and each of the relay swimmers captured at least one individual event as well.

When it was over, Rochester had a 178-110 victory. The victory evens the dual meet record at 5-5.

The top individual winner was Chris Doser. He swam the anchor leg of the winning 200 medley relay as well as the closing 200 free relay (which Rochester also won). He captured individual wins in the 200 free (1:46.88) and the 100 free (:47.97). The 200 medley relay was clocked in 1:38.09, the 200 free relay in 1:26.65.

James Frauen won the 100 back (:53.68) and swam on both relays. Pat Davis was the same – he was first to the wall in the 100 fly (:53.94) and swam on both relays. Kasey Kwon won the 100 (1:00.22) and 200 (2:13.44) breaststrokes and swam the second leg of the 200 medley.

The fourth freestyle relayer was Alex King. He swam the leadoff leg of the final race and earlier in the meet claimed the title in the 50 free (:22.22).

Mitchell Gray won the 1000 free (10:26.43), was fourth in the 200 fly (2:15.39), and second in the 500 free (5:00.95). Cory Chan won the 200 back (2:05.54).

On the diving boards, Daniel Kim finished second in both. He had a 205.65 on the three meter and a 176.17 on the one meter.
