Another team record was broken as members of the New York
University men's swimming & diving team competed on the fourth
and final day of the NCAA Division III
Championships. The four-day meet was held
Wednesday-Saturday, March 19-22, at the Indiana University-Purdue
University Indianapolis (IUPUI) Natatorium in Indiana.
The men's team entered today's competition in 27th with 17 points
and finished the competition tied for 31st place with 17
points.
Junior Matt Kendall finished 19th in the
200-yard breaststroke (2:04.00) and surpassed his own previous
record of 2:04.15, which he set earlier this season.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Junior Jerry Crowley finished 44th in the
100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.02.
- In the 200-yard backstroke, senior Charlie
Wu placed 34th (1:53.90).
