The University of Chicago swimming and diving teams capped their record-setting weekend with 12 more school records and six pool records at day two of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Invitational on Sunday.

Due to inclement weather conditions in Atlanta, UChicago was one of three UAA schools that competed at a satellite meet at Case Western Reserve University, while the UAA Championships took place at Emory University with the other five conference schools. Individual and team results will then be combined from the two locations to determine conference champions. Complete results will be available from Emory by Monday morning.

After smashing 16 school records on Saturday, UChicago set 12 in Sunday's action. Three freshmen had record days on the women's side. Alison Wall set a new school record in the 200-yard freestyle prelims (1:51.82) and in the 200-yard backstroke time trial (2:02.13). Maya Scheidl did the same in the 50-yard freestyle prelims (23.64) and Abby Erdmann broke the pool and school record in the 100-yard butterfly prelims (55.50).

On the men's side, sophomore Thomas Meek set a pair of pool and school records in the 200-yard freestyle prelims (1:39.48) and in the 50-yard freestyle leg of the 200-yard medley relay (20.32). Freshman Jonas Fowler broke the pool and school record in the 400-yard IM (4:00.93) and sophomore Matthew Veldman did the same in the 100-yard butterfly prelims (49.05).

Four total relays rewrote the school record books as well. The men's 200-yard medley relay posted a pool and school record mark of 1:31.02 while the women's 200-yard medley relay tallied a school record in 1:44.71. The men's and women's 400-yard freestyle relay entered the school records as well in 3:03.14 and 3:27.17, respectively.
