New York University's men's swimming & diving team defeated
The College of New Jersey (179-115) for the first time in six
seasons on Saturday, November 15, in Ewing, NJ.
Senior diver Brian Blum recorded his first win
of the season in the three-meter competition (285.60) and placed
second in the one-meter competition (299.60). Both of his scores
were NCAA-qualifiers, while his one-meter score was his second
NCAA-cut, qualifying Blum for the NCAA Regional meet in the
spring.
"Today was a great day for the divers," said Diving
Coach Scott Donie. "It is exciting to have three
divers already qualified for the NCAA Regional meet this early in
the season. We're looking forward to getting back to work as we
prepare for ECAC's."
The Violets are now 6-0 in dual meets this season.
