The University of Chicago swimming and diving teams hosted a tri-meet on Saturday, splitting with visiting Lewis University and Olivet Nazarene University.
The Maroon men defeated Lewis 162-117 and lost to Olivet Nazarene 149-129.
The home side found plenty of success in the diving events as they swept all four. Sophomore Dean Boures took the one-meter dive (245.03) and the three-meter dive (274.58) on the men's half.
In total, the Maroons won six men's events. Senior Thomas Meek helped account for half of the wins – 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and as part of the 400-yard freestyle relay. The relay members included Meek, junior Jonathan Simoneau, freshman Alexander Farrell and senior Matthew Veldman. Junior Kevin Ku also won the 200-yard butterfly.
