Washington University in St. Louis senior Reed Dalton repeated as the men's 100-yard butterfly National Champion to highlight six All-America performances for the men's and women's swimming & diving teams on day two of the 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships Thursday at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Dalton became the second swimmer in WashU history to win back-to-back National Championships, joining Alex Beyer, who won the men's 400 individual medley in 2009 and 2010. After swimming the fastest prelim time in the 100 fly Thursday morning, Dalton swam a season-best time of 47.22 to win the national title by a half-second. He finished his career with four top-four finishes in the event, after placing fourth each of his first two seasons.

The men's 200-free relay team of sophomore Ross Brown, Dalton, junior Michael Lagieski and junior Justin Morrell started the day by breaking the school record in the prelims, advancing to the championship final with a time of 1:21.66. That time bettered the previous record of 1:21.69 set in 2015. They finished seventh in the event final with a time of 1:22.06.

A pair of freshmen also raced in the men's 100 fly, Andrew Pek finished 29th (49.85) and Brandon Lum was 41st (50.66). Morrell and senior Luke Dobben both raced in the men's 200 free. Morrell finished 35th in 1:41.14, while Dobben clocked a season-best 1:41.53 to finish 40th.
