The Brandeis University swimming and diving team traveled to Trinity College (Conn.) yesterday. 

The men's team fell by a score of 190-71.

TOP PERFORMERS - MEN

  • Freshman Tamir Zitelny (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) notched a first place finish in the 100 yard butterfly (53.50) and two second place finishes in the 100 yard backstroke (54.12) and the 100 yard freestyle (49.55).
  • Senior Edan Zitelny (Syosset, N.Y./Syosset) logged a pair of second place finishes in the 200 yard butterfly (2:04.12) and the 200 yard backstroke (2:04.20).
  • Senior Cameron Braz (Monson, Mass./Monson) finished second in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 23.11.
  • Freshman Noah Ayers (San Diego, Calif./Torrey Pines) finished second in the 500 yard freestyle (5:08.90).
  • The men's 400 yard freestlye relay team of Thomas Alger (Plymouth, Mass./Sacred Heart), Cameron Braz, Taku Harada (Henrico, Va./Mills E. Godwin), and Tamir Zitelny finished second with a time of 3:23.67.
