The Case Western Reserve University men's swimming and diving team picked up a 197-91 victory over Ohio Northern University on Saturday
Prior to the start of the meet, the swimming and diving team recognized its three senior men's members – Andrew Henning, David Merriman and John Tomko.
The win raised the Spartan men's record to 7-2 on the season.
The men claimed 12 of the 16 events on Saturday, including a sweep of the relays. The 200-yard medley relay team of freshman John Libert, freshman Mason Beck, junior Aaron Pang and junior Oliver Hudgins won the event with a mark of 1:37.68, while Hudgins, junior Drew Hamilton, sophomore Brody Schmidt and Henning ended the meet with a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:11.85.
Three different Spartan men won a pair of individual events, with Hamilton finishing first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:44.20) and 500-yard freestyle (4:46.93), Hudgins claiming the win in both the 100-yard backstroke (53.21) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.84), and sophomore Neil Orton sweeping the two diving events.
Adding wins on Saturday for the men were sophomore Keith Erichsen in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:57.31), Beck in the 100-yard breaststroke (59.87), Pang in the 200-yard butterfly (1:56.41), Schmidt in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.18) and Libert in the 100-yard butterfly (52.98).
