Seniors Andrew Wilson and Christian Baker reached the finals of their respective events during the first day of competition of the Arena Pro Swim Series at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center on the campus of the University of Texas in Austin, Texas.

Wilson reached the A finals of the 200 Breast, finishing third with a time of 2:13.12. Wilson also recorded the third best time in preliminaries, touching at 2:16.97. He was edged out in the finals by 2016 Olympic Sliver medalist Josh Prenot (2:11.15) and Nicolas Fink (2:11.40).

Baker advanced to the D final of the 400 Free with a time of 4:04.89 during the morning prelims. He placed 28th overall after a finals mark of 4:04.41.

Other Eagles competing on Friday were sophomore Trey Kolleck (42nd, 53.49) and junior Oliver Smith (45th, 53.60) in the 100 Free, sand ophomore Thomas Gordon in the 400 Free (51st, 4:14.07).
