Emory University swimmers senior Andrew Wilson and junior Cindy Cheng swept the Division III National Swimmers of the Week awards as announced by CollegeSwimming.com earlier this week.

Wilson broke five NCAA Division III men's swimming records, including three individual marks, leading the Eagles to a second place finish at the meet. Cheng, meanwhile, recorded six NCAA "B" Cuts, one NCAA "A" Cut and set the school record in the 200 Backstroke.

On Thursday, Wilson opened the Invitational setting two Division III records in the 200 IM with a time of 1:45:57 and teamed with classmate Christian Baker, freshman Sage Ono, and junior Oliver Smith to set a new Division III record in the 400 Medley Relay with a time of 3:13.00.

The next night, Wilson, Ono, Baker, and Smith set another Division III record, this time in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:26.74 before breaking his own national 100 Breaststroke mark with a time of 51.14. Wilson, now stands as the fifth-fastest American ever in the 100 Breast and the seventh-fastest performer of all-time.

He closed out the meet on Saturday with his third individual Division III record, taking first in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 1:51.15 to break his own national record. He now ranks as the seventh-fastest American (and performer) all-time in the history of the event.

On the women's side, Cheng set the school record in the 200 Back on Saturday, finishing first in the event with a NCAA "A" cut time of 1:57.26. She added NCAA "B" Cuts in the 500 Free (2nd, 4:51.85), 200 Free (2nd, 1:48.13), 400 Medley Relay (2nd, 3:44.39), 200 Medley Relay (3rd, 1:42.04), 800 Free Relay (1st, 7:22.08) and the 400 Free Relay (1st, 3:21.91).

She now ranks first in all of Division III in the 500 Free, 200 Free, 200 Back, 400 Medley Relay, 400 Free Relay, second in 800 Free Relay and third in the 200 Medley Relay.
