Chicago Stands Fourth After Day Two of UAA Championships

The University of Chicago men's swimming and diving team stands fourth as host of the 2017 UAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

For the men, the 400-yard medley relay closed out the evening by breaking the UChicago record with a 3:19.67 to finish third (2016 NCAA qualifying mark). The relay consisted of freshman Byrne Litschgi, freshman Reona Yamaguchi, sophomore Michael Todd and sophomore Alexander Farrell.

Farrell was All-UAA three times on the night. Along with the 400-yard medley relay, he was third in the 50-yard freestyle (20.68) and second as part of the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:22.39). The relay included Litschgi, freshman Aidan Meara and senior Jonathan Simoneau.
