Bears Add Nine B-Cut Times to Weekend’s Total

From Washington University Athletics

On the second day of the Miami (Ohio) Invitational, Washington University in St. Louis men swam to five NCAA Division III B-cut times and set one new school record at the Corwin Nixon Natatorium on Friday.

In addition the Bears added four more B-cut times while swimming to a day one lead at the Wheaton College Invitational.

Setting a school record was Peyton Wilson for the second day in a row. He reset WashU's 100 backstroke standard, just a single day removed from setting the record time.  Wilson broke the record on Thursday during the 400 medley relay and continued to reestablish the mark during Friday's 100 BK event. He set the record again in preliminaries before ultimately setting the new mark at 49.71 in the final race.
