Case Western Reserve University senior Drew Hamilton was selected to the field of competitors for the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships

Hamilton was originally selected as an alternate for the 500-yard freestyle, but was later announced that he would be invited to the NCAA Championships. He earned entry to the field in the 500-yard freestyle, after swimming a time of 4:30.70 at the 2018 University Athletic Association Championships to place fifth in the event.

Last year, Hamilton finished 15th in the 500-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:30.51 to claim an All-America Honorable Mention certificate. For his career, Hamilton has collected five All-American certificates.

Hamilton will be joining junior Alli Drohosky, junior Suhan Mestha, senior Inez Moore, freshman Vanya Ruppart and freshman Caitlyn VonFeldt, who were all selected to the field of women's competitors for the championships.

The 2018 NCAA Division III Championships will be hosted by Franklin College and the Indiana Sports Corp at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana from March 21st-24th.
